Information about settings in the VGTE configuration file

<LinuxGuestCustomization>

Use this section to define configuration settings for Linux virtual machines.
OsName: Set this to:
 Red Hat Enterprise Linux
Domain — Set this to the name of the domain the virtual machines belong to.

<WindowsGuestCustomization>

Use this section to define configuration settings for Windows virtual machines.
OsName — Set this to one of the following values:
Windows Server 2003
Windows Server 2003(64 bit)
Windows Server 2008
Windows Server 2008(64bit)
Windows Server 2008 R2(64 bit)

TimezoneId — Set this to one of the integers listed in Timezone values.
LocaleId — Set this to one of the following integers:

  • 1 — English United States
  • 2 — French Standard
  • 3 — Japanese
  • 4 — German Standard
