Starting and stopping the TFTP server


Stop and restart the TFTP server to have configuration settings take effect.

To start the TFTP server

  1. Perform the step appropriate for your operating system type.
    • Microsft Windows:
      1. The TFTP server is a Windows service, so choose Start > Settings > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services
      2. Right-click BladeLogic TFTP Server and select Start.
    • Linux: Type the command: /etc/init.d/bltftp start

To stop the TFTP server

  1. Perform the step appropriate for your operating system type.
    • Microsoft Windows:
      1. The TFTP server is a Windows service, so choose Start > Settings > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services
      2. Right-click BladeLogic TFTP Server and select Stop.
    • Linux: Type the command: /etc/init.d/bltftp stop
