Executing management tasks on VMware Virtual Machines


You can perform a variety of management tasks on the VMware virtual machine, such as starting and stopping the virtual machine.

  1. In the Servers folder, navigate to a VMware vCenter server and expand the Live node.
  2. Expand the VMware vCenter Server server object type and then expand the Virtual Machines node. The Virtual Machines node shows all virtual machines configured within the VMware vCenter server. The icon for the virtual machine indicates the current status.

  3. Right-click a virtual machine. From the pop-up menu, select any of the management tasks described in the following table.
