Managing SOCKS proxy servers

The BMC Server Automation system lets you route communication to remote servers through SOCKS proxy servers.

After you create proxy server objects, you can manage those objects through the Infrastructure Management window of the BMC Server Automation Console. You can view and edit a proxy server's properties, delete the proxy server object, or check to see if the actual proxy server is functioning.
