Creating a storage pool

A UCS template can use a storage pool to find an available pair of WWNN and WWPN addresses for a SAN device during provisioning.

Before you begin

To create a storage pool

  1. In the Depot folder, right-click a folder under which you want to create the storage pool and select New > UCS > Storage Pool.

  2. Provide information for the new pool as described in the following sections:

  3. Click Finish.
     The storage pool appears in the Depot folder hierarchy.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
