Examining patch properties
You might want to examine the properties of a patch before choosing to apply the patch to your servers.
- On the Properties panel for a patch, you can verify information such as the patch's source, title, description, bulletin number, and language.
- In the Microsoft Windows Patching Job view, right-click a patch and select Open Patch. (See Viewing status and results of a Windows Patching Job for details about how to open a Windows Patching Job view.)
A Depot Software Properties panel opens for the selected patch.
Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
