Replacing file content

When editing a BLPackage, you can replace the contents of an existing file or custom configuration object payload. For the replacement contents, you can select a local file or a file on a server where an agent is installed.

To replace file content

1. In the BLPackage hierarchy, select an existing file or custom configuration object payload with contents you want to replace.
2. Right-click and select Replace File Content.
   The Select Replacement File window opens.
3. Navigate to a file with the contents you want to use.
4. If you want the file in the BLPackage to use the create and modify dates for the file you have selected in this window, select Replace Create and Modify dates using selected file.
5. Click OK.
   The contents of the file you select in this procedure replace the contents of the existing file or custom configuration object payload.
