Virtual Infrastructure Discovery Job - Select Lifecycle Properties  Mapping

The Select Lifecycle Properties Mapping panel lets you select a properties mapping file to use as the basis for importing the lifecycle properties (such as OWNER, EXPIRY_DATE, LOCATION) for the discovered virtual machines.

This panel is displayed only if you selected the Import Lifecycle Properties option on the General panel.

Note

You must have created a server lifecycle properties mapping file and stored it in the Depot. See Creating-the-server-lifecycle-properties-mapping-file.

Do the following:

  1. Browse to the location of the mapping file in the Depot folder.
  2. Select the mapping file.
  3. Click OK.
  4. Click Next.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
