Patching Job - Execute on approval and Approval type  settings

The Approval information tab lets you select an approval type and enter approval parameters when you configure the schedule.

The Approval information tab only appears when the BMC Server Automation administrator has specified that this job type requires BMC Remedy ITSM approval prior to execution. When approval is required, you must use this tab to select the approval type and enter the approval parameters.

To specify an approval type, select the Execute on Approval option, and then select an Approval type. Optionally, you can select to use an existing change ticket for approval. The Execute on Approval field appears when you:

• create a schedule for a job that you are creating
• schedule an existing job for execution
• set a schedule in an execution task
