Version 8.2 SP2 includes the following updates related to the console:
Creating a smart group based on components
You can now create a smart group of servers based on the existence of components associated with specific component templates.
To define a smart group like this, perform the following steps:
- Open the New Server Smart Group window.
- Define a rule for server smart groups that reads:
Any Server where Templates* contains <component_template_name>
The server smart group contains any server where components have been discovered for the specified template.
Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
