Note

BMC supports use of the Solaris SVR4 package installer only for installation of the Network Shell or RSCD agent. BMC does not support using the shell-based installation program (.sh) or Solaris SVR4 package installer to upgrade these components. To upgrade, you must uninstall the earlier version and install the version to which you want to upgrade.
