Configuring expiration time for credentials of jobs
Use this procedure to set a timeout value for the session credentials that are passed to jobs. After the credentials expire, all active client connections are closed. The NshScriptJobCredentialTimeout setting is a global setting that applies to all jobs.
- Start the Application Server Administration console, as described in Starting the Application Server Administration console.
- To set a timeout value for the job session credentials, enter the following:
set ProcessSpawner NshScriptJobCredentialTimeout #
where # is the number of hours (minimum of 24). The default setting is 96 hours.
For information about the process spawner, see Configuring the process spawner. Restart the Application Server.
