Default database cleanup script folders and files

When the Application Server is installed, the installation program:

  • Automatically creates a folder called autoimportcontent/nshscripts in the NSH/br/ directory
  • Installs the dbcleanup.zip file in that directory.

When the Application Server is started, the dbcleanup.zip file is automatically imported and unzipped. After this process is completed you will see:

  • In the Depot workspace, a BMC Maintenance depot object which contains a NSH Script named BSA Recommended Database Cleanup Script.
  • In the Jobs workspace, a BMC Maintenance job folder which contains a job named BSA Recommended Database Cleanup Job.

Note

Because the auto import of the script and job can continue even after the Application Server starts, you might not immediately see the cleanup NSH script and cleanup NSH script job in the console. The entire process might take a few minutes.
