About the Infrastructure Management window
The Infrastructure Management window provides a way to view and manage Application Servers and other servers that support BMC Server Automation operations.
The Infrastructure Management window has these nodes:
Node | Description |
|---|---|
Application Servers | Displays information about Application Servers configured on the host and status information about the services they run. For information, see Getting-information-about-Application-Servers. |
Application Server Launchers | Lets you configure, control, and manage multiple Application Servers on the same host. (Your role must be granted authorization to view and manage Application Servers on this node.) For information, see Configuring-the-Application-Server. |
Pxe Servers | Displays information about the PXE servers used for provisioning Windows and Linux servers in a BMC Server Automation environment. For information, see Getting-information-about-PXE-servers. |
Database Config Info | Displays database connection information. For information, see Getting-information-about-the-database. |
Proxy Servers | Lets you create and manage SOCKS proxy servers used to communicate with remote target servers. See Managing-SOCKS-proxy-servers. |
Network Routing Rules | Lets you create and manage rules for routing communications to remote servers through a SOCKS proxy server. See Setting-up-communications-with-remote-servers. |
File Servers | Lets you manage pre-defined file servers used to store the contents of files included in snapshots, Network Shell scripts, BLPackages, software packages, and other types of information that is not easily stored in the database. |
Repeater Servers | Lets you create and manage repeater servers used for indirect staging to target servers during deployment. See Managing-repeater-servers. |
Repeater Routing Rules | Lets you create and manage rules for determining the repeater used for indirect staging to target servers. See Configuring servers to use repeaters during deployments. |
Job Execution Rules | Lets you create and manage rules for determining the Application Server used for job execution. See Creating rules to determine Application Servers used for job execution. |
