StaticComponentGroup - removePermission

Description :

This command removes a permission entry from the ACL controlling access to a component group. A permission consists of a role and an authorization.

You must call this command with a valud authorization name, role name, and component group name. Otherwise this command returns an error.

Valid authorizations for a component group are:

  • ComponentFolder.Read
  • ComponentFolder.Modify
  • ComponentFolder.ModifyACL
  • ComponentFolder.Delete
  • ComponentFolder.Write

  • ComponentFolder.*
     Returns the DBKey of the component group.

    Return type : DBKey

groupName

String

The fully qualified name of the component group.

roleName

String

Name of the role.

authName

String

Name of the authorization.

Example

The following example shows how to remove the permission consisting of the role "SampleRole" and the authorization "ComponentFolder.Read" from a component group called "/Sample Group".
