Stopping all services


This topic describes how to stop IBM Cognos, the Apache server, and the BMC Server Automation Authentication Service. Use the procedure for your OS type.

Note

The commands described in the following sections do not stop the Tomcat service. For instructions on stopping the Tomcat service, see Stopping-the-Tomcat-service.

To stop all services on UNIX-like computers

  1. Navigate to the BDSSAInstallationDirectory directory or the /etc/init.d directory (the command is available in both places).
  2. Type the following command:

    ./blreports stop

To stop all services on Microsoft Windows 32-bit computers

  1. Navigate to the BDSSAInstallationDirectory directory.
  2. From a command prompt, type the following command:

    blreports.bat stop

To stop all services on Windows 64-bit computers

  1. Navigate to the BDSSAInstallationDirectory directory.
  2. From a command prompt, type the following command:

    blreports_64.bat stop

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
