Viewing the agent log files for ETL runs

When you run the run_etl.nsh script using the -f argument with the agentlogs.properties file, a set of log files is created for the agent log.

These log files are located in the following directories: BDSSAInstallationDirectory/etl and agentLogFilesDirectory.

The location of the agentLogFilesDirectory is specified during the BMC Decision Support for Server Automation installation. This location is recorded as the agentlogpath property in the blreports_config.properties file, which is located in the BDSSAInstallationDirectory/bin directory.

Note

If you move the log files on UNIX platforms, ensure that the path name for agentLogFilesDirectory does not contain any spaces. Also, update the value of the agentlogpath in the blreports_config.properties file.
