Modifying Apache Web Server details


After you configure the Apache Web Server during postinstallation configuration, you can modify the details of this server by using the BMC Decision Support for Server Automation Console. 

Note

On Red Hat Enterprise Linux and SUSE Linux Enterprise, specify a port number greater than 1024. If you specify a port number of 1024 or lower, the following error message appears: Permission denied. Please enter a different port.

To modify Apache Web Server details

  1. Launch the BMC Decision Support for Server Automation, as described in Accessing-the-console.
  2. To view sites, click Configuration > Other Details.
    The Apache Web Server Details section shows the protocol and the port used by the Apache Web Server.
  3. Click the Modify button EditIcon.png.
  4. On the Modify Apache Web Server Details page, modify the details as necessary.
  5. Click Update.

    Note

    Click Revert to revert to the previous settings.
