Managing the portal database

Use the following instructions with the BMC Decision Support for Server Automation Console to retrieve details about and modify parameters for the portal database:

Retrieving details about the portal database

Click Configuration > Database Details.
In the Database Details section, the Portal Database row displays details.

Modifying parameters for the portal database

  1. Click Configuration > Database Details.
  2. In the Database Details section, click the Modify button EditIcon.pngin the Portal Database row.
  3. On the Modify Portal Database Details page, modify the parameters as required.
  4. Click Update.

Notes:  

  • Click Revert to revert to the previous settings.
     
  • Before changing parameters for the portal database, export the entire portal database to a zip file by using Content Administration in IBM Cognos Administration, which is available in the portal.

Note

You can change multiple databases.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
