Connection timed out error


Your browser displays the following error message when you try to access the BMC Decision Support for Server Automation Console after installation: The connection has timed out.

This error might occur if the firewall is enabled.

Solution: Disable the firewall, as follows:

  • (Windows) From the Services window, stop the Windows Firewall service.
  • (UNIX) Enter the following command to stop the firewall service: systemctl stop firewalld
