Restarting the Authentication Service

This topic provides instructions for restarting the BMC Server Automation Authentication Service for reports. Use the procedure for your OS type.

To restart the Authentication Service on UNIX-like computers

  1. Navigate to the BDSSAInstallationDirectory/br directory.

  2. Type the following command:

    ./blauthservice restart

To restart the Authentication Service on Microsoft Windows computers

  1. From a command prompt, type the following command:

    services.msc
  2. In the Services window, select BMC SARA Authentication and then click Restart.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
