Regulatory Dashboard reports for a new policy type
The Regulatory Compliance Policy Dashboard and Regulatory Compliance Policy (OS) Dashboard compliance reports now include data for the PCI v2 policy.
New columns in the Compliance Summary by Policy report
The Compliance Summary by Policy report includes data for the following additional columns, which provide information about rule compliance:
- Rules Checked
- Rules Compliant
- Rules Non Compliant
- % Rule Compliance
Change in BMC-supplied inventory templates
To reduce the time taken to capture inventory snapshots and to improve ETL performance, the BMC-supplied inventory templates no longer include parts for the Processes asset. Therefore, if you have taken snapshots that use these inventory templates, the out-of-the-box Server Configuration report does not show data for the Processes asset. You can use custom templates if you want to include data for processes in the report.
ETL debugging log
A new ETL log file, etl_debug.log, helps determine the cause of an ETL failure. This file is located in the BLREPORTS_HOME/logs/etl directory. If you encounter ETL failures, contact BMC Support and provide this file. This log includes the following information about ETL runs:
- Current installation versions of applications, such as BMC BladeLogic Decision Support for Server Automation, Cognos, Apache, and Authentication Server
- Database type
- ETL failure details
- Information about the SYSTEM_PROPERTY table
ETL performance log
The get_etl_performance_info.nsh script helps you generate the ETL performance log file, etl_performance_YYYYMMDDhhmmss_info.log. This file is located in the BLREPORTS_HOME/logs/etl directory. If you encounter ETL performance issues, generate this log file and contact BMC Support. This log includes the following information:
- ETL execution summary, such as the minimum, average, and maximum ETL execution time
- 0_BSARA scenario execution summary, such as number of times 0_BSARA has been executed, session duration, and its status
- Detailed ETL log for the last n days
- Number of rows in the reports data warehouse tables
To generate the ETL performance log file
- Navigate to the BLREPORTS_HOME\etl\bin directory.
Enter the following command:
nsh get_etl_performance_info.nsh -d <n>The d option generates the detailed log for the last n days.

Removed properties from the Inventory Server Property query subject
The following properties are no longer available in the Inventory Server Property query subject:
- REPEATER_STAGING_DIR
- STAGING_DIR
