To add a site, use the Report Administration Utility add site command. For information about this command, see Report-Administration-Utility-commands.

Notes

  • While adding a site, if you are creating a database link from an Oracle 10g data warehouse to an Oracle 11g BMC Server Automation database (for non-primary sites) and using a password containing literals for the connection, you must enclose the password in double quotation marks.
  • If you modify the BMC Server Automation database details (such as server name, SID, or password), you must change the site context to use the modified details. To change the site context, run the set context command by using the Report Administration Utility.
