Description

add site

Adds a site to the reports warehouse.
To add a site, perform the following steps:

  1. Create a linked server for the BMC Server Automation database (see Creating-a-linked-server-for-the-BMC-Server-Automation-databases).
  2. Add the site by using the add site command.
  3. Set the site context in the ETL (ODI) database by using the set context command.
list sites

Lists all sites in the reports warehouse, including details such as site IDs and descriptions. Specifies whether a site is the primary site.

show site

Returns details about the specified site, such as site IDs and descriptions. Specifies whether the site is the primary site.
It also provides ETL configuration information for the site, including database type, host name, and user name. For Oracle databases, it provides the SID and port. For Microsoft SQL Server databases, it provides the database name, port, and linked server name.

set context

If no context exists for the site in the ETL database, this command creates it. If the context already exists, this command updates it.
If you are using Oracle RAC, you must use the JDBC URL. For examples of a JDBC URL, see Setting-global_names-to-true-for-Oracle-databases.

set primarysite

Sets a site as the primary site in the reports warehouse.

set site

Changes the name and description of the specified site in the reports warehouse.
If you change the site name using this command, you must regenerate each single sign-on credentials file that includes this site in the credentials. for more information, see Managing single sign-on.
