Searching for users and roles

In the 

portal, you can search for users and roles using IBM Cognos Administration. This topic provides an overview of how to search for users and roles. For complete details, refer to the IBM .

To search for users and roles

1. In the

   portal, select Launch > IBM Cognos Administration.
2. Click the Security tab.
3. Click BMC.
4. Click Search.
5. Select the Search field or accept the default (Name field).
6. Enter the user or role for which you want to search.
   To qualify the search, click Advanced and choose the Method, Type, and Scope.
7. Click Search.
   The results are displayed in a list.
