Moving the reports server to another system

Complete the following steps to move the reports server to another system:

  1. Obtain any customized httpd.conf and httpd-ssl.conf files (not customizations) from the old system. If the url will be the same, get the https certificate.
  2. Install BMC Decision Support for Server Automation on the new system. 
  3. Configure BMC Decision Support for Server Automation on the new system. 
  4. Apply the customizations in the http.conf and httpd-ssl.conf files on the new system.
  5. If you are using the existing https certificate, replace the certificate in the new system.
  6. Shut down the old system.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
