Update included in Service Pack 4

Service Pack 4 for BMC BladeLogic Decision Support for Server Automation version 8.2 includes the following update:

Reports can now use BLPackage and NSH Script properties

The extract, transform, load (ETL) process now publishes the BLPackage and NSH Script Depot Object properties into the data warehouse, enabling you to create reports based on these properties.

To enable these additional properties in the ETL process load, run the enable_depotobjectpropertydata.sql script from the db/scripts/<db_type>/schema folder.

Note

Adding these properties increases the overhead on the ETL process. Therefore, BMC recommends that you enable these properties for ETL only if you need reports based on these properties.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
