Managing reports using IBM Cognos


This topic lists some of the main tasks that you can perform on built-in and ad hoc reports and provides references to documentation for detailed instructions on performing the tasks.

When you first log on to

, several built-in reports are available for your use. These reports provide a wide-range of information about your server environment. You can change the filter settings and schedules of a report to meet your needs. You cannot modify built-in reports unless you installed the

Editing report definitions
Edit report definitions using the tool in which they were created, which is one of the following: Query Studio or Report Studio.

To edit built-in reports, you must use Report Studio, an add-on to BMC BladeLogic Decision Support for Server Automation.
