Supported upgrade paths for version 8.2 SP4

The following figure illustrates the supported upgrade paths for BMC BladeLogic Decision Support for Server Automation versions upto 8.2 SP4:

In the above diagram, abbreviations are defined as follows:

  • BSARA and BDSSA stand for BMC BladeLogic Decision Support for Server Automation
  • HF stands for HotFix
  • SP stands for Service Pack

Note

Ensure that the version and service pack of BMC BladeLogic Decision Support for Server Automation used in your environment is the same or later than the version and service pack of BMC Server Automation that you are using.
For example, if you are using BMC Server Automation version 8.2 SP2, you must also be using BMC BladeLogic Decision Support for Server Automation version 8.2 SP2 or later.
