Uninstalling

This topic describes how to uninstall 

The macro unmigrated-inline-wiki-markup from Confluence is no longer available.

from UNIX and Microsoft Windows.

Note

If you plan to reinstall the product after uninstalling it, ensure that the Cognos service is removed before reinstalling the product.

Uninstalling from UNIX

Note

This procedure is applicable for deployments using the Oracle database only.

  1. Log on as root.
  2. Navigate to the directory in which you installed

  3. Run the uninstallation script, as follows:

    ./Uninstall/Uninstall
  4. Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the uninstallation.
  5. After the uninstallation is complete, manually delete the entire installation directory.

Uninstalling from Windows

  1. Select Start > Programs > BMC > Reports > Uninstall BMC BladeLogic Decision Support for Server Automation to launch the Windows uninstallation wizard.
  2. Follow the instructions in the wizard to uninstall the product.
  3. After the uninstallation is complete, manually delete the entire installation directory.
