Upgrading the data warehouse

This topic provides instructions for upgrading the data warehouse.

Before you begin

To upgrade the data warehouse

  1. Start the NSH shell, and execute the following command: 

    ./run_db_upgrade.nsh

     

    Warning

    Note

    The run_db_upgrade.nsh file is located in the BDSSAInstallationDirectory/etl/bin directory.

  2. In the Metadata Navigator, check that the data warehouse upgrade is successful.
     Green check marks next to the OM_UPGRADE, DW_UPGRADE, and UPGRADE_DATABASE scenarios indicate that the data warehouse upgrade is successful.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
