Configuring polling interval

Whenever there is an event or update to the change record, change management system adds an entry in the staging interface called CHG_ChangeOutboundInterface.

BMC Atrium Orchestrator polls the interface periodically to get the updates. The default time interval to poll for updates is five minutes. You can configure the polling interval based on your business requirements.

To configure the polling interval

  1. In BMC Atrium Orchestrator Grid Manager, in the Manage tab, navigate to Schedules > Poll Remedy for updates.

  2. In Current Operation: Edit a Runtime Schedule Configuration, modify the value in Frequency field.
    Click OK to configure the polling interval.

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
