Installing silently


In a silent installation, you run the installation program from a command line. When you execute a silent installation, you specify a response file, which specifies the selections you would normally make during an interactive installation

A silent installation enables you to install or upgrade in a headless environment on UNIX, or to install on or upgrade multiple systems at the same time. This section describes how to work with silent installations and contains the following topics:
