Example of creating an operation
This example demonstrates how to create a new Compliance operation. The process of creating an operation is largely the same for all types of operations. Deploy and NSH Script operations each have one additional step. Provisioning operations differ substantially from other types of operations.
For each step of the process, the following example describes one method of entering data. Usually, there are many possible approaches. For a complete description of all possible options, see Creating-or-modifying-an-operation.
To create an example operation
- On the operations list page, click the Create Operation drop-down list and select Compliance.
- For Name, assign a name to the operation.
- For Description, enter some descriptive text.
