Minimum software requirements

To install and use BladeLogic Dashboard, be aware of the following requirements.

Installation requirements

To install the BladeLogic Dashboard, the following software must already be installed:

  • BMC Server Automation version 8.2 or later

    Warning

    If you are running BladeLogic Server Automation versions 8.2.x, 8.3.0, or 8.3.1, some additional steps are required to enable the BladeLogic Dashboard. Those steps are described in Getting-started-with-the-BladeLogic-Dashboard.

  • BMC BladeLogic Decision Support for Server Automation version 8.2 or later
  • Java Development Kit (JDK) version 1.6 or 1.7. 
  • JAVA_HOME environment variable must specify a valid directory

Supported browsers

To view BladeLogic Dashboard, use any of the following browsers:

  • Google Chrome 48 or later
  • Mozilla Firefox 44 or later
  • Microsoft Internet Explorer 10
