Known issues while installing BMC BladeLogic Atrium Integration
While installing BMC BladeLogic Atrium Integration, you might get the following error message:
Failure during SQL operation to the database ORA-04030: out of process memory when trying to allocate 254476 bytes
Solution: On the database server hosting the database for BMC Remedy AR System, do the following:
- Set the virtual memory to minimum 13GB and maximum 16GB.
- Set a /3GB startup switch. For details on how to set this switch, see http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb124810%28EXCHG.65%29.aspx.
