Description and reference

Verify that BMC BladeLogic Atrium Integration was installed successfully.

BMC BladeLogic Atrium Integration

Installing BMC BladeLogic Atrium Integration creates the BL2ATRIUM_CS_VIEW table as well as BMC Atrium Integration Engine data exchanges needed in later steps.

To verify installation, examine the bl2atrium_install_log.txt log file and check for errors. This file is located in the TEMP directory.

Verify that the Component Discovery Jobs ran.

BMC Server Automation

Using the BMC Server Automation Console, navigate to the jobs located in the following folder:

Jobs/BL2Atrium Jobs/Discovery Jobs

  1. Right-click each job and select Show Results.

  2. Check that each job ran recently so that BMC Server Automation has current information about the servers before populating this information to BMC Atrium CMDB. Note the dates and times each job was run.

  3. Examine the job run events to see if any errors occurred.

Verify that the Snapshot Jobs ran.

BMC Server Automation

Using the BMC Server Automation Console, navigate to the jobs located in the following folder:
