Enabling Security Incident Handling from BMC Helix Digital Workplace Advanced
With Security Incident Handling line of business, you can create security cases through the Security Incident Handling portal in BMC Helix Digital Workplace Advanced.
An administrator must first enable the Security incident Handling portal in BMC Helix Digital Workplace Advanced.
The following image shows the process to get started with Security Incident Handling and the current step that you are on:
To enable the Security Incident Handling portal from BMC Helix Digital Workplace Advanced
- Log in to BMC Helix Digital Workplace Advanced as an administrator.
- In the URL, type admin after /dwp/.
- Click
and select Configuration.
- In the left-hand navigation, click Application Features.
- To enable the Security Incident Handling portal page to be displayed in the top menu, select the checkbox for Studio (expose pages to end users).
- To enable enhanced studio page capabilities, select the Use enhanced catalog section and tile framework checkbox.
- In the left-hand navigation, click Studio.
- On the Customize your workplaces page, click Actions for the Security Incident Handling page and select Duplicate to copy the studio page.
- Click Actions for the newly copied studio page and select Edit.
- Make the following required changes, and save the page:
- Name of the Workplace page in the top menu
- Location of the name in the top menu
- Background images
- To publish the page, click Save and Publish.
- To modify the sequence of the top menu items, click Navigation Manager.
- In the Navigation Builder, change the sequence of the top menu items, and click Save.
