Setting up and going live

Out of the box, the Security Incident Handling line of business is available in the Draft status in BMC Helix Business Workflows. As a Security case business analyst, you must activate the Security Incident Handling line of business in BMC Helix Business Workflows in your development environment. You must also configure settings for the line of business before you can use it.

To create a separate portal for Security Incident Handling, you can use the placeholder page provided out-of-the-box in the ESM Portal in BMC Helix Digital Workplace Advanced.

After the line of business is active, enable BMC Helix ITSM in BMC Helix Business Workflows to create tickets in BMC Helix ITSM from Security Incident Handling. To relate assets, enable Asset Management in BMC Helix Business Workflows.
