Managing components in TrueSight Smart Reporting - Platform
This topic provides information about modifying and deleting a component from TrueSight Smart Reporting. A TrueSight Smart Reporting - Platform administrator can modify or delete a component from TrueSight Smart Reporting - Platform.

Modifying a component in TrueSight Smart Reporting
The component should not be modified to point to a new warehouse database. Use this option only if the host name/IP address or the port number has changed for the same database.
Do the following:
- Use the following URL to open the Login page:
https://<TrueSight Smart Reporting hostname>:<port>/tsr - In the Log in as field, select TrueSight Smart Reporting - Admin.
- Enter the TrueSight Smart Reporting - Platform administrator user name and password, and click Login. The Components page appears.
- Click the Edit icon for the component that you want to edit.
In the Edit Component page, modify the values of the component.
- Save the changes.
Deleting a component from TrueSight Smart Reporting
After you delete a component, the component details are automatically deleted from TrueSight Smart Reporting - Platform.
A component can be deleted in one of the following scenarios:
- The component is registered without any errors.
- The component is in the Registration Error state.
- The component is in the Initializing state.
Do the following:
- Use the following URL to open the Login page:
https://<TrueSight Smart Reporting hostname>:<port>/tsr - In the Log in as field, select TrueSight Smart Reporting - Admin.
- Enter the TrueSight Smart Reporting - Platform administrator user name and password, and click Login. The Components page appears.
- Do one of the following:
- Click the Delete icon for the component that you want to delete. This button is available when the component is registered without any errors.
- If the component is in the Registration Error or the Initializing state, click Force Delete.
