Troubleshooting Operator Control Panel issues while using the HARMAN browser


Adobe announced the end of development and distribution of Adobe Flash Player by the end of the year 2020. To use the Operator Control Panel (OCP) in the HARMAN browser, you must apply a fix. After applying the fix, sometimes, the action fails and the following error messages may be displayed:

Failed to connect to the server, please contact an administrator.
Error in data service: HTTP request error

This issue may occur intermittently especially if the OCP session is idle for a long time or you refresh the page multiple times.

To resolve this issue, delete the cookies, close the browser window, and access the OCP in a new browser window.
