Metrics database

Performance metrics and audit records are stored in separate tables in one metrics database. Process metrics can be stored in the same or a different database.

Note

To use the Value Dashboard or historical data in the Health Dashboard, you must use an external database to store process metrics.

TrueSight Orchestration can interface with many database types. Before you can configure the database connection through Grid Manager, the database must exist and a user with permissions to create tables, to insert records, and to select records in those tables must exist for this database. 

The database and user name are specified during the database connection configuration.
