Deleting content from the repository
Use this procedure to delete obsolete or redundant modules and adapters from the repository. You can delete an entire module or adapter, or you can delete specific versions or revisions. Once deleted, you cannot restore the adapter or module again.
To delete content from the repository
- Log on to the Repository Manager and click the Content tab.
All adapters and modules installed in the repository are displayed. - To delete an adapter, from the Adapters tab, select the check box against an adapter and click Delete.
- To delete a module, click the Modules tab, select the check box against a module and click Delete.
You can choose any of the following options to select the content to delete:- To delete all content, select the top-level Name check box.
- To delete the entire adapter or module, select its top-level folder.
- To delete a version of a selected adapter or module, expand the top-level adapter/module folder and select its version folder.
- To delete revisions, select specific revisions in the version folder.
- (Optional) To see more information about the adapter/module, click the icon next to a content revision.
Information such as the name of the content, original date of creation, last modified, description and so on appears. - To deleted selected content, select the check boxes against the adapters or modules.
The following figure shows the revision of an adapter selected for deletion.
- On the warning message, click Confirm to continue with the deletion.
