Support for Windows Server 2019 Datacenter

Summary

TrueSight Orchestration Platform version 20.02.01 supports Microsoft Windows Server 2019 Datacenter.

Before you install

Before you start installing any of the TrueSight Orchestration Platform components, ensure the end-to-end network connectivity between the deployed VMs for the inbound traffic, as follows:

  1. Ensure that the security groups are configured to allow communication between peers:
    1. Add the Custom ICMP – IPv4 inbound rule with Echo request as Protocol, and Anywhere-IPv4 as Source.
    2. Add the All TCP inbound rule with TCP as Protocol and the port that you provided during the peer installation (for example, 38080 for CDP, 28080 for the repository).

  2. Ensure that the firewall allows communication between the peers.
  3. Enter the IP entries in the hosts file of all peers:
    1. Open the hosts file with a text editor. Typically, this file is located in the C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts directory.
    2. For the instances on which configuration distribution peer (CDP) is installed, enter its own private IP address and host name, as shown in the following example:

    3. For the instances on which high-availability configuration distribution peer (HACDP) is installed, enter private IP of its own instance and public IP of its CDP instance, as shown in the following example:

    4. Save and close the file.
  4. While running installer for any TrueSight Orchestration Platform component, enter public host names of the peers.
