20.02.01: Patch 1

This topic contains information about the fixes and updates in 20.02.01, Patch 1 for TrueSight Orchestration 20.02, and provides instructions for downloading and installing the patch.

Updates

This patch includes the following updates.

Old Repository Manager and Operator Control Panel applications redirected to new user interfaces

Starting 20.02.01, the old Repository Manager and Operator Control panel applications, which use Adobe Flash, are no longer available. As Adobe announced the end of development and distribution of Adobe Flash Player by the end of the year 2020, Flash-based capabilities will not work after December 31, 2020. If you use the old URL, you will be redirected to the new user interfaces for both the applications.

Grid Metrics for the Grid Manager now available in the Health Dashboard

In earlier releases, you can view the overall summary of the TrueSight Orchestration environment (for all the peers) in the TrueSight Orchestration Grid Metrics page, which uses Adobe Flash. As Adobe announced the end of development and distribution of Adobe Flash Player, Flash-based capabilities will not work after December 31, 2020. 

The grid metrics for all the peers in your TrueSight Orchestration environment are now available in the Health Dashboard application. After installing the patch, if you click the Go to Metrics View link on the Grid Manager > Status tab, you are asked to view the Health Dashboard application to view the grid metrics. The Health Dashboard also shows additional data related to the grid.

Downloading the patch

This patch contains a full installer. You can download the installation file from the BMC Electronic Product Downloads (EPD) Site.

Installing the patch

If you are installing this patch as a fresh product installation, the process to install the patch is the same as installing any base version.

Upgrading to the patch

The process to upgrade the patch is similar to upgrading to any other base version.

Important

Before upgrading to the patch, you must ensure that you first upgrade to TrueSight Orchestration Platform version 20.02.
