Development Studio XSLT transform editor, the Text node is used write literal text to the resulting XML document.

Indicates whether XML special characters should be escaped in the resulting XML document or output exactly as specified in the Text field.

For example, if the Text field contained a < character, if this option is not checked the resulting value would be &amp;lt; and if this option is checked, the resulting value would be unchanged.
