CDP throws 'Failed to write to repository' error

When you install TrueSight Orchestration version 22.2 and configure Oracle database on CDP, the installation logs show the following error:

 [Thread=AMP - Audit Component - Upload Timer] ERROR DefaultAuditRepository Failed to write to repository. Reason : could not extract ResultSet

When you are upgrading from a previous version of TrueSight Orchestration to version 22.2, the hibernate sequence is already created. Hence this error is not thrown. 

Workaround

To rectify this error, do the following:

  1. Stop the TrueSight Orchestration services.

  2. Run the following DB command to create the hibernate sequence in the Oracle database:

    create sequence hibernate_sequence start with 1 increment by 1
  3. Start the TrueSight Orchestration services.
