MOM monitor adapter


The Microsoft Operations Manager 2005 (MOM) application generates Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) traps in response to an alert. These SNMP traps are then used by the TrueSight Orchestration monitor adapter.

To perform actions related to traps, you must use TrueSight Orchestration Development Studio to design processes and implement rules .

Note

The monitor adapter must always be enabled on a peer installed by a user with root permissions.
