BMC AtriumNetcool OMNIbus actor adapter requests and responses

The Tivoli Netcool/OMNIbus adaper request can be formed in two ways. The most common usage does not utilize an adapter action. The second option utilizes an adapter action of 'insert_journal'.

Note

When the adapter request is formed within the Transform Editor, this request template must be enclosed in <request-data> tags.

The following sections are specific to each option. The action, if indicated, must be entered in the Adapter Action field in the Activity Property window of the Call Adapter Activity.
