CyberArk adapter
CyberArk is the Core Privileged Access Security solution that unifies Enterprise Password Vault (Digital Vault), Privileged Session Manager, and Privileged Threat Analytics to protect an organization’s most critical assets. CyberArk is used for managing the privileged credentials and sessions for a target system, which are critical to the organization to protect their assets with unauthorized access.
CyberArk adapter consumes CyberArk Web services and REST API calls to perform operations actions and retrieve password using the application ID and query parameters. The adapter is based on the agent less Application Access Manager (AAM) method for password retrieval and WebSDK API for application management operations. The Central Credential Provider AIM WebService Endpoint allows the CyberArk Adapter to make a REST or a SOAP call to securely retrieve the credentials (using application id and query) from the vault. The WebSDK API allows the adapter to perform safe and account management operations.
For more information about the CyberArk vault versions supported by the adapter, see Supported application versions for the application adapters.
